For me, yoga creates a sense of quiet and calm that I often didn't find in my day. I attended my first class over 10 years ago and the benefits of the practice were instant and numerous. For years, I would go to yoga sessions around my full time career schedule and spend all my off-days practicing at home. I struggled to find the right balance between work, family and my practice. With time and through regular yoga practice, my body became stronger, more flexible and mentally I felt happier, calmer and more centered. In an attempt to expand my own knowledge and practice, I became certified to teach in July 2017 (RYT 200) with Yoga London and my passion for sharing yoga took over. In January 2020, I completed 100Hrs in Yin Yoga and Anatomy with Cal Wansbrough, deepening my understanding of Chinese Medicine and Meridian lines and applying them to the quieter, calmer and more grounded practice of yin. I hope to inspire others to share my passion, helping my students walk away feeling relaxed and refreshed.
